HSBC Holdings plc in Manila is seeking an AVP, Digital Innovation and Transformation to lead innovation, digital simplification and transformation initiatives across International Wealth and Premier Banking.

You will drive adoption of HSBC platforms, build simple solutions, partner with cross-functional teams, and ensure data governance and regulatory compliance while delivering measurable business impact.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 2–5+ years in transformation/change delivery.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of AVP, Digital Innovation and Transformation.

Role Purpose

• Innovation and Transformation Delivery - Lead and deliver innovation, digital simplification and transformation initiatives for International Wealth and Premier Banking to simplify processes, improve customer outcomes, colleague productivity, operational resilience and commercial impact.
• Adoption & Enablement – Accelerate delivery by scaling adoption of approved HSBC platforms and capabilities (existing and emerging - e.g., for digital workflow, data/Business Intelligence, automation and AI/GenAI) across products and use cases to drive simplification and transformation; identify, prioritise and progress high-impact use cases to embed these capabilities into BAU with measurable benefits.
• Solution Building - Build simple solutions for simplification and transformation initiatives using available HSBC tools
• Group, Regional and Market Alignment - Champion Group, Regional and Market simplification initiatives and ensure local execution aligns to strategic direction, governance and target operating models.
• Digital Innovation & Transformation Culture - Promote a sustainable digital innovation & transformation culture across IWPB through practical experimentation, knowledge sharing and adoption support.
• Data Management & Governance - Ensure innovation is built on trusted data: clear definitions, ownership, quality, lineage, access controls and documentation.
• Risk, Controls & Policy Compliance - Ensure all activity complies with company policies and standards on information security, data privacy, model risk and operational risk.

Experience, Skills And Qualifications

• Minimum 2-5 years experience delivering transformation, automation, analytics, digital or technology-enabled change (financial services experience a plus).
• Strong technical skills with track record in building technical applications or solutions from scratch leveraging Generative AI or programs such as Python, VBA macros.
• Strong Knowledge in Banking processes and systems.
• Demonstrated track record of taking initiatives from concept to production/BAU adoption with measurable outcomes.
• Strong understanding of how customer, product and channel data is used to drive IWPB outcomes (acquisition, engagement/deepening, retention, servicing, risk and controls).
• Experience mapping out Customer Journeys, Project Management and delivery of Transformation and Innovative Solutions
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders (Business, Ops, IT, Data, Risk/Controls) and navigating governance.
• Experience delivering change in a regulated environment and applying relevant regulatory/control requirements an advantage
• Must be at least a Bachelor’s Degree holder
