Job summary

Citi in Taguig, Philippines, seeks a Senior Credit Analyst to deliver high-quality credit analysis and underwriting support for U.S. commercial clients. The role sits in the Commercial Lending Management team and anchors the first line of defense in Citi’s global credit function.

You will assess facilities, amendments, and annual reviews, conduct cash flow analyses, and prepare memos. Collaboration with Credit Officers, Relationship Managers, and Risk teams across Citi is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in credit analysis or risk management in commercial lending.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field.
• Strong ability to analyze financial statements and cash flows for credit decisions.
• Clear written and verbal English communication to present to senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Excel and presentation tools; familiarity with credit risk policies.

Responsibilities

• Assess end-to-end credit transactions, including new facilities and amendments.
• Prepare credit memos and documentation aligned with Citi standards.
• Monitor covenant compliance and portfolio risk; escalate early warnings.
• Ensure accurate risk ratings and credit classifications across portfolios.
• Coordinate with Credit Officers, Relationship Managers and Risk teams.
• Contribute to process improvements in the credit workflow.
