Deutsche Bank AG's DWS division is seeking a seasoned finance professional to join the Regional Finance team in Manila. You will analyze financial position and performance, prepare regulatory submissions, and liaise with auditors, ensuring accuracy of statutory statements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline; CPA preferred.
• Experience in financial reporting, management reporting, financial analysis, or audit in Financial Services, Shared Services/BPO, or professional services environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities, with ability to interpret financial information, identify trends, translate findings and discuss to stakeholders.
• A team player who is collaborative yet able to work independently.
• Exposure to SAP system is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to partner with local, regional, and global teams.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, and a keen interest in leveraging technology to drive efficiency and innovation.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.

Responsabilités

• Produce various internal Reports & Analysis (Flash, Plan, Forecast, Actuals, and Disclosures) and discuss the monthly results with regional CFO, business FDs, and DWS Group reporting team.
• Prepare and review financials for regulatory submission.
• Liaise with auditors and ensure accuracy of Financial Statements for statutory annual audit.
• Review month-end results, raise and discuss unusual items with DWS Manila teams; identify control gaps and mitigation plans.
• Review and sign-off monthly balance sheet substantiation; ensure supporting documentation and address unsubstantiated balances.
• Calculation and review of specific inter-company/transfer pricing transactions.
• Support the annual planning process for specific sub-business of DWS.
• Support ad-hoc queries and reporting requirements in a timely manner.
• Assist/support AI initiatives, project deliverables, reviews and studies.
• Keep operational guidelines updated and ensure adherence to standards, KPIs, objectives and procedures.
