Job summary

Planate Management Group seeks a Site, Safety and Health Officer to implement, monitor, and enforce occupational safety, health, and security requirements for aerodrome projects.

You will conduct inspections, audits, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with permit-to-work systems, PPE, and emergency plans. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree, DOLE accreditation, and at least five years in airport safety, with strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required.
• Accredited Health and Safety Practitioner by DOLE with current accreditation.
• At least five (5) years of experience in airport/aerodrome safety and security operations or aviation-related infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, construction safety standards, and airport operational safety requirements.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor site safety, health, and security programs per project requirements and regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, hazard assessments, and risk evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with permit-to-work systems, PPE, and emergency response plans.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-miss events; recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct safety orientations and training to promote safety awareness.
• Prepare safety reports, inspection records, and regulatory documentation.
• Undertake additional safety responsibilities as required.
