Job summary

1Aviation Groundhandling Services Corp. is seeking a Safety Officer to strengthen the organization’s safety culture and ensure compliance with aviation safety standards.

You will lead safety initiatives, conduct risk assessments, and collaborate across departments to maintain a safe operational environment. An ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree and has 5+ years of Airline/Airport operations experience, plus 3+ years in aviation safety or SMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree holder.
• 5+ years in Airline/Airport operations.
• 3+ years in aviation safety or SMS.
• Knowledge of aviation safety standards and regs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Vision, Mission, and Values are achieved.
• Promote compliance with Quality, Safety, and Security standards based on regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Assist Safety Manager in implementing safety projects, meetings, and reports.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
• Perform inspections across stations and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; analyze root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and implement preventive safety measures across operations.
• Support internal audits and liaise with regulators to ensure compliance.
