Job summary

Planate Management Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to plan, design reviews, supervise, inspect, test, and commission electrical systems for aerodrome projects. The role ensures compliance with plans, aviation requirements, and safety standards while maintaining quality and reliability.

Key tasks include reviewing drawings, coordinating with authorities and contractors, and producing reports.

Qualifications

• Licensed Electrical Engineer with a valid PRC License.
• 7+ years of relevant Electrical Engineering experience.
• Experience in airport/aerodrome/aviation or major infrastructure projects.
• Experience with AGL, navigational aids, substations, standby power, and distribution networks.
• Training or certification in project management, electrical safety, commissioning, or quality management.
• Experience with airport authorities, government agencies, consultants, and international contractors.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering principles, power systems, AGL, and electrical safety standards.
• Proficiency in reviewing electrical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Familiarity with local and international electrical and aviation standards.
• Excellent leadership, coordination, communication, and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and inspect electrical works, including airfield lighting systems, power distribution networks, substations, generators, and other aerodrome electrical infrastructure.
• Ensure construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities comply with approved plans, specifications, applicable codes, and QA/QC requirements.
• Review electrical shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation.
• Monitor testing and commissioning activities to verify the performance, safety, and reliability of electrical systems.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, airport authorities, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Prepare and review inspection reports, test results, progress reports, and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
