Job summary

The Edge Contracting Services is seeking an experienced Software Test Manager for a 1-year contract in Singapore. You will lead quality assurance efforts, define robust testing strategies, and drive both manual and automated testing across projects.

The role requires strong SDLC knowledge and hands-on experience with JIRA, TestRail, Tosca, and Selenium. You will mentor the testing team, coordinate with business units for UAT, and continuously improve testing methodologies to ensure top-quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• 4+ years in software testing, including 2+ years in leadership/management.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with test management and automation tools.

Software Test Manager - Singapore

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Test Manager to lead and drive the quality assurance processes for innovative projects. In this role, you will define and implement robust testing strategies to ensure that the applications meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Strategy & Planning:
  Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies for new and existing applications.
  Design test approaches, plans, cases, and scripts based on requirements and specifications.
• Execution & Oversight:
  Oversee manual and automated testing processes to ensure thorough coverage of application functionalities.
  Collaborate with business teams to coordinate and execute user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Defect Management:
  Work closely with development teams and business analysts to troubleshoot and resolve defects in a timely manner.
  Monitor testing progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders on test results, defects, risks, and issues.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Research and implement new tools and techniques to enhance testing methodologies.
  Ensure compliance with industry best practices for quality assurance and testing.
• Leadership & Collaboration:
  Lead and mentor the testing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  Facilitate effective communication between the testing team and other departments to promote a quality-first mindset.

An Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in software testing, including 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and automation tools (e.g., Tosca, Selenium).
• Proven ability to lead and mentor teams while fostering collaboration and innovation.

This is a 1 year contract to start, renewable and convertible to permanent.
