Job summary

ING Hubs B.V. Philippine Branch is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated tests across enterprise applications. You will collaborate with developers, product owners, and engineers to ensure reliable software delivery.

You will work with Java-focused test frameworks, contribute to CI/CD, and help raise testing standards across banking platforms used by customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Experience in test automation within enterprise applications, distributed systems, or microservices environments.
• Strong programming skills in Java.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and performance testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling and modern software development practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and testing frameworks.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing activities.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and support issue resolution.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and automation practices.
• Support CI/CD initiatives and quality engineering activities throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Ensure testing standards are consistently applied across applications and projects.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to team success.
