As an Automation QA Engineer, you will help ensure the quality and reliability of our technology solutions by designing, developing, and executing automated tests across a range of applications and platforms. You'll work closely with developers, product owners, and fellow engineers to identify quality risks, improve testing processes, and support the delivery of high-quality software. What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and testing frameworks.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing activities.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and support issue resolution.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and automation practices.
- Support CI/CD initiatives and quality engineering activities throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Ensure testing standards are consistently applied across applications and projects.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to team success.
What You'll Bring
- Experience in test automation within enterprise applications, distributed systems, or microservices environments.
- Strong programming skills in Java.
- Experience working with automation frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and performance testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tooling and modern software development practices.
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized environments is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Kafka, ActiveMQ, or other messaging technologies is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and work effectively in an Agile environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
