Job summary

Nordic is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team in the Philippines, focusing on developing and implementing automation solutions to enhance observability and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of automation experience, proficiency with Ansible, PowerShell, Terraform, Python, and GitHub, and a solid understanding of ITOM, AIOps, and modern observability tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience, or Master's degree with 3 years, or 8 years with no degree.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in developing automation solutions for IT operations.
• Strong proficiency in GitHub, Ansible, PowerShell, Terraform, and Jenkins.
• Experience with event management solutions including ServiceNow ITOM, AIOps, and observability platforms.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and modern observability tools.
• Solid understanding of IT operations, system administration, and observability principles.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automation solutions for system monitoring, alerting, and reporting.
• Manage source code using GitHub (or similar tools).
• Develop automation scripts using Ansible, PowerShell, Terraform, and Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement automation opportunities.
• Document automation processes and provide support for IT operations and development teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation scripts and systems.
• Stay updated on the latest automation technologies and contribute to team innovation.
