Job summary

Apex Group Ltd (UK Branch) seeks an experienced DevOps / IaC Engineer to join our global Product Technology team in Makati. You will design and automate cloud environments, manage CI/CD pipelines and support production readiness across APAC hours, collaborating with Europe and other regions.

You will work close to software engineering and integration platforms, ensuring observability, secure credential handling and reliable releases while maintaining runbooks and documentation for repeatable

Qualifications

• Experience managing Azure cloud operations and administration.
• ,
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tooling (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates).
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Solid Git experience including branching strategies and PR workflows.
• Scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash or Python.
• Experience with Docker and containerised workloads.
• Production systems support including incident investigation and root-cause analysis.
• Understanding of DNS, firewalls, load balancers and secure connectivity.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, App Insights, Log Analytics.
• Experience handling secrets/certificates (e.g., Key Vault).
• Ability to read logs, trace distributed issues and follow runbooks.
• Strong English communication, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently with distributed teams across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code and automation for cloud and integration environments.
• Build, manage and improve CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
• Support deployments across dev/test/prod environments and coordinate release readiness.
• Operate Azure-based services and microservices including networking and security.
• Manage secrets, certificates and credential lifecycles securely.
• Monitor health and logs, implement dashboards and alerting for observability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis with safe replays.
• Collaborate with development teams and ITSM tooling for incidents and changes.
• Create runbooks and operational documentation to enable repeatable resolution.
• Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell, Bash or Python.
• Support integration patterns with REST APIs, queues, SFTP and data exchanges.
• Contribute to environment management, capacity planning and DR readiness.
• Apply least-privilege access and security hardening practices.
• Collaborate across Europe and APAC in a follow-the-sun model.
