Job summary

ASCENDZE PTE. LTD. in the Philippines is seeking an Automation Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team.

You will take mechanical design responsibility from concept through detailed design, select components, assemble, test and troubleshoot automation machines for customized projects. The role requires hands-on experience in mechanical design for industrial automation, strong CAD skills with SolidWorks and Autodesk Inventor, and the ability to size and select servo motors,

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
2–5+ years hands-on mechanical design in automation or customized machinery.
Ability to independently design an automation machine from concept to detailed design.

Responsibilities

Develop mechanical concepts and designs for automation machines.
Create 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks and Autodesk Inventor.
Size and select automation components such as servo motors, gearboxes, linear guides, bearings, actuators, sensors, etc.
Design machine mechanisms, frames, fixtures, grippers and end-effectors.
Prepare complete BOM, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings and detailed part drawings.
Source components based on technical, cost, and lead time requirements.
Collaborate with project, electrical, controls and assembly teams.
Provide hands-on troubleshooting during assembly and testing.
