Job summary

Philip Morris International is seeking an Electronics Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve electrical, automation, and control systems in our manufacturing environment. You will ensure reliable equipment performance and compliance with cybersecurity standards.

In this role you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose issues, support automation projects, and develop documentation while coaching colleagues in best practices.

Qualifications

• Technical education in Electronics, Electrical Technology, Automation, or related field.
• At least 1 year of industrial or manufacturing experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and automation skills.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Knowledge of PLCs, industrial controls, and OT/ICS environments is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and automation systems.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and electronic equipment issues.
• Support equipment modifications and automation projects.
• Ensure compliance with OT/ICS and cybersecurity requirements.
• Participate in advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards.
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
• Coach team members on technical and automation-related practices.
