Job summary

weSource Management Consultancy Firm is hiring an AutoCAD Draftsperson for Eastwood QC, dayshift (6AM-3PM) onsite. The role focuses on producing detailed mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor, with an emphasis on accuracy and adherence to project standards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in industrial design/drafting, strong IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook), and the ability to collaborate with engineers and project managers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the industrial design/drafting profession.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Mechanical drafting experience in a professional environment.
• High level of IT competency, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Capability to deliver work within defined standards for time, cost, and quality.
• Previous industry and gas experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to produce detailed mechanical drawings and designs using AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Create engineering drawings, including architectural plans, site General Arrangements (GAs), and P&IDs.
• Produce accurate 2D and 3D drawings to support the manufacture of industrial equipment from existing samples.
• Develop site layouts and equipment drawings that meet project specifications.
• Participate in design reviews and implement revisions as needed.
• Stay up to date with industry standards and drafting best practices.
• Support the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
• Maintain and update Drawing Registers.
• Coordinate with the production and project team to ensure efficient manufacturing.
• Perform quality checks to ensure all designs meet company standards.
• Occasionally travel to various sites as required.

We are urgently hiring for an AutoCAD Draftsman (Draftsperson).

Work setup & shift: Dayshift (6AM-3PM) & Onsite (Mon-Fri)

Salary is up to 60k based on experience.

What You Need:
