Qualifications

• Graduate of Automotive Technology, Industrial Technology, or any related course.
• With experience in automotive painting, surface preparation, and refinishing.
• Knowledgeable in paint mixing, color matching, sanding, and spray painting techniques.
• Familiar with automotive painting tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Detail oriented with good craftsmanship and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming prior to painting.
• Mix and apply automotive paint according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
• Perform touch ups, refinishing, and repainting of company vehicles and equipment.
• Inspect completed paint work to ensure quality, consistency, and proper finish.
• Maintain painting tools, spray equipment, and work area in clean and safe condition.
• Identify and report body defects requiring repair before painting.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and environmental standards during painting operations.
• Coordinate with the Motorpool team to complete painting jobs within scheduled timelines.

Job Summary

The Auto Painter is responsible for preparing, painting, and refinishing company vehicles and equipment to maintain their appearance and protect them from corrosion and wear. The role ensures high quality paint finishes while adhering to company quality, safety, and maintenance standards.
