Job summary

Allied Tire Center Corporation in the Philippines is seeking an automotive mechanic to perform tire changes, wheel balancing, preventive maintenance, and related service tasks. You will work with customers and service advisors, document repairs, and help keep the shop clean and safe.

The role requires at least one year of experience and vocational training in automotive technology, plus TESDA NC II/III certification.

Qualifications

• 1 year of proven experience as an automotive mechanic or similar role.
• Vocational graduate in Automotive Technology.
• TESDA Automotive Servicing NC II or NCIII certificate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Install and wheel balance tires for a wide range of vehicles.
• Change tires and balance tires.
• Operate a computerized wheel alignment system.
• Perform basic auto care and maintenance tasks such as vulcanizing, tire rotations, oil change, tune-ups and checking fluids.
• Repair and replace brakes, suspensions and engine components.
• Diagnose engine, mechanical, brake and suspension problems and issues.
• Explain technical issues, concerns and needed repairs to customer and service advisor.
• Document all repairs and service done to Job Order.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of service bays and ensure tools are kept in the tool room.
• Keep shop equipment operational.

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Change tires and balance tires

• Perform basic auto care and maintenance tasks such as vulcanizing, tire rotations, oil change, tune-ups and checking of all fluids

• Repair and replace brakes, suspensions and engine overhaul

• Diagnose and identify engine, mechanical, brake and suspension problems and issues

• Explain technical issues, concerns and needed repairs to customer and service advisor

• Document all repairs and service done to Job Order

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of service bays and ensure all tools are returned and well-kept in tool room

• Keep shop equipment and machinery operational

About you
