Job summary

D2B is seeking an Estimator to prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for Australian construction projects. This role requires reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documents, and performing digital take-offs using Bluebeam Revu.

The successful candidate will estimate PVC wall systems, request supplier quotations, and prepare tender submissions while ensuring compliance with Australian standards. Collaboration with project teams and handover to delivery is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Estimator for Australian construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of Australian construction practices and tendering processes.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu for quantity take-offs and document markups.
• Experience estimating PVC wall systems or similar interior wall/cladding products.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for Australian construction projects.
• Review architectural, structural, and shop drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Perform digital take-offs using Bluebeam Revu.
• Estimate PVC wall systems, including materials, accessories, and installation requirements.
• Request and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare tender submissions, BOQs, and pricing schedules.
• Identify project risks, scope gaps, and cost-saving opportunities during the estimating process.
• Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and clients to clarify project requirements.
• Maintain estimating databases, cost libraries, and historical pricing records.
• Ensure estimates comply with Australian building standards, project specifications, and company procedures.
• Assist with post-tender clarifications and handover to the project delivery team.
