CloudPay is looking for a detail-oriented Australia Payroll Specialist to own end-to-end payroll processing for Australian entities, ensuring compliance with local legislation and delivering accurate, timely payroll services that meet client-specific SLAs. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to manage payroll operations, resolve client queries, and proactively drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Well versed with Australia payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
• Ability to interpret awards, legislation, tax and superannuation.
• Hands-on processing in-house Australia payroll experience.
• Experience in regional payroll will be an advantage.
• Good communication skills and able to explain payroll processing matters clearly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process end to end Australian payroll (on and off cycle) for APAC clients weekly, bi-weekly and monthly.
• Collate payroll information, process, produce reports and journals.
• Handle redundancies, terminations, new hires, increases and back pays.
• Perform AU statutory contributions and deductions for superannuation, taxation, child support, PAYG.
• Remit monthly superannuation, payroll tax, PAYG and quarterly employee statements.
• Upload bank files and mass changes for entry into payroll system.
• End of year processing and reconciliation including payment summaries.
• Handle payroll and tax queries from clients and resolve in a timely manner.
• Produce statutory and payroll reports and submit to business units.
• Identify risk areas and work with team on solutions.
