Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead Audit Engagements: Manage audit activities, special projects, and inventory audits to ensure compliance and operational effectiveness.

• Prepare and Present Variance Reports: Develop and review audit and variance reports, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and actionable recommendations. Collaborates with the Internal Audit Manager to finalize high-quality reports for management.

• Automate Reporting Processes: Develop and enhance automated reports and records to improve data accuracy, efficiency, and audit visibility.

• Analyze Inventory Variances: Reconcile inventory records, investigate discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions to improve controls.

• Conduct Field Audits: Willingness to travel and perform on-site audits and physical inventory counts across various locations as needed.

• Mentor Audit Associates: Provide coaching, technical guidance, and support to enhance team capability and performance.

• Drive Process Improvements: Recommend improvements to strengthen controls, streamline processes, and increase operational efficiency.

• Excel Proficiency: Must have strong skills in formula, pivot table, and data analysis.

Key Qualifications:

• Education: Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in BS Industrial Engineering or BS Internal Auditing.

• Certification: Audit-related certifications are preferred.

• Experience: Must have at least 6–12 months of experience in Modern Trade audit procedures.

• Special Skills:

  • Knowledgeable in accounting, audit processes and procedures.

  • Computer literate and proficient in MS Office applications.
