Job summary

Anchorage Consulting Private Limited Singapore in Manila seeks an experienced external auditor to lead engagements from planning through reporting. You will ensure compliance with ISA/IFRS and the firm’s quality standards, review working papers, and communicate findings to partners.

The role requires supervising staff, coordinating with clients and stakeholders to meet deadlines, and managing budgets and resources to improve audit quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or CPA or equivalent.
• At least five years external audit experience, including supervising teams and managing engagements.
• Strong knowledge of ISA and IFRS.
• Strong analytical, communication and client management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines.
• Experience with group audits and consolidation is an advantage.
• Prior experience with a Big Four firm is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of audit engagements from planning through completion and reporting.
• Ensure audits comply with ISA, IFRS and the firm’s quality management policies.
• Review audit working papers and financial statements, resolve technical issues and communicate significant findings to the engagement partner.
• Supervise, coach and develop audit staff, providing timely feedback on performance.
• Coordinate with clients, component auditors and other stakeholders to meet engagement deadlines.
• Manage engagement budgets, staffing and work allocation.
• Identify opportunities to improve audit quality and efficiency.
• Support client proposals and business development activities.
