Forvis Mazars in the Philippines is seeking an Audit Manager to guide professional staff and conduct a broad range of assurance services including audits, controls reviews, remediation projects, and regulatory support.

The role emphasizes leadership, technical excellence in PFRS/PSA, and the ability to manage multiple engagements while building client relationships and pursuing new business opportunities.

Qualificações

• Must be a CPA with strong technical audit knowledge.
• Minimum of six (6) years of audit experience at a Big 4 or known auditing firm.
• Experience in diversified industries; familiarity with listed companies, insurance, or financial services is a plus.
• Expertise in Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and Philippine Standards on Auditing (PSA); US GAAP/US PCAOB knowledge is advantageous.
• Experience in both local statutory audit and international group reporting requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the review process of the audit team and recommend policy changes, new systems, or restructuring as needed.
• Understand clients' industry, drivers, trends, and developments to guide engagements.
• Plan engagement objectives to ensure standards compliance and address risk; prepare budgets, proposals, and fee negotiations.
• Review and approve all financial statements, opinions, and other deliverables for clients.
• Maintain relationships with other engagement teams and monitor progress to drive performance.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop long-term relationships with clients and networks.
