Job summary

Global Staff Connections Inc. is seeking an Audit Manager in Pasig, Philippines to oversee audits from planning to completion for a US-based firm. The role focuses on delivering quality engagements, managing teams, and maintaining client relationships.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's in Accounting, 3+ years of external audit experience, and familiarity with US GAAP and IFRS. CPA is preferred. Strong Excel skills and analytical thinking are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• At least 3 years of external audit experience.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Strong communication skills and client relationship experience.
• Experience in evaluating internal controls and testing per AICPA standards.

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with the firm’s policies and procedures.
• Perform audit and accounting procedures as needed or assigned.
• Meet the billable hours set by the Client.
• Manage multiple priorities and deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Prepare working papers and financial statements clearly and concisely.
• Oversee client engagements including compilations, reviews, and compliance.
• Prepare complex client correspondence and technical proposals.
• Generate risk-focused reports and assess overall controls effectiveness.
• Build positive relationships with clients and internal staff.
• Understand clients' businesses and industries.
• Lead or participate in project teams.
• Stay updated on AICPA rules, FASB, and AICPA pronouncements.
• Demonstrate professionalism and willingness to work extra hours.
