Job summary

EY GDS in the Philippines seeks a Manager to manage a sizeable client portfolio, leveraging project and relationship management to support engagement leaders. You will build strong relationships with the engagement team and clients, identifying areas where GDS Assurance can improve quality and expand scope.

The ideal candidate is a qualified CPA with 5+ years of experience, strong IFRS/UK GAAP knowledge, and proven leadership, coaching, and communication skills in English.

The opportunity

The opportunity to become a manager is dependent on the business requirements of the service line and their performance. As a Manager, you will leverage your project and relationship management to support the management with a sizeable portfolio of clients. You will be instrumental in building strong relationships with engagement team and clients, identifying areas where GDS Assurance can improve quality, and increase the scope of work.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• A qualified CPA with over 5 years of experience

• Strong knowledge of International accounting and auditing standards (IFRS or UK GAAP)

• Project management, leadership, coaching, counselling and supervisory skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Effective interpersonal, risk management, facilitation and presentation skills

• Ability to build a positive work culture and live up to the EY values

• Ability to quickly form strong working relationships with colleagues within and outside Philippines

• Financial Services industry experience is an added advantage
