EY- Assurance – Advanced Associate role in the Philippines supports global client-serving assurance teams from the GDS Philippines offices. You will deliver substantive and controls-based procedures, interact with the engagement team, and learn EY technology and tools to enhance service delivery.

The role emphasizes developing knowledge of industry risks, maintaining ethical standards, and collaborating across regions to provide high-quality assurance services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy is required.
• CPA is acceptable or not required (CPA optional).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office suite is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deliver highest quality assurance deliverables following EY Global methodology.
• Understand basic industry or sector and awareness of assurance risks.
• Interact with the global engagement team regularly and build productive relationships.
• Contribute ideas to improve review efficiency across clients.

As part of our EY-Assurance Team, you will be carrying out routine substantive and controls‑based procedures from the GDS Philippines offices supporting the various global client‑serving assurance teams mostly based in the Americas & European countries.

Your key responsibilities

• Be responsible for delivering highest quality deliverables on assurance related tasks which comply to EY Global methodology.
• Demonstrate basic understanding of an industry or sector and be aware of technical issues or assurance risks.
• Interact with the global engagement team on a regular basis and develop productive working relationship with them.
• Contribute ideas for improvement by comparing efficiency of review procedures performed across different clients.
• Contributes to a positive team environment by demonstrating consistent commitment and optimism towards work challenges.
• Promote EY’s ethical and professional standards, including data confidentiality.
• Achieve participation on calls with EY Onshore teams.
• Develop knowledge of use of EY technology and tools to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery.

• Open for CPA and Non‑CPA.
