This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with strong listening skills and a keen eye for detail. No professional transcription experience required.

What You’ll Do

• Listen to and accurately transcribe audio recordings across a range of topics, speakers, and environments
• Handle diverse accents, speech speeds, and varying audio quality with patience and precision
• Apply consistent formatting, punctuation, and style rules as outlined in project guidelines
• Flag unclear or ambiguous segments and note speaker changes where relevant
• Meet quality and turnaround targets for each assigned batch
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

• A strong, attentive listener who catches details others might miss
• Accurate and comfortable typing at a reliable speed
• Patient and methodical when working through difficult audio — background noise, overlapping speakers, or heavy accents don't throw you off
• Able to follow detailed written guidelines consistently
• Comfortable using online transcription tools and interfaces
• No prior transcription or AI experience required

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in transcription, captioning, or audio editing
• Familiarity with transcription software or style guides
