Job summary

Emapta Global in the Philippines seeks an AU Tax Assistant Manager to lead Australian tax and accounting engagements within a pioneering team for a Big Four firm. You'll guide professionals, interact with Australian stakeholders, and gain international exposure while enjoying a hybrid work setup.

Travel to Australia is required; you will also benefit from a sign-on bonus, a PHP10,000 non-taxable allowance, and leave credits.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of Australian public practice accounting experience.
• At least 2 years of team leadership experience.
• Exposure to SME and mid-market clients with annual turnovers of AUD 5M-100M+.
• CA or CA-equivalent qualification (completed or currently in progress).
• Strong knowledge of Australian taxation, accounting legislation, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide Australian tax and accounting advice and solutions across a diverse client portfolio.
• Build technical expertise across Australian tax compliance, accounting, and business advisory services for middle-market clients.
• Lead and contribute across the full client engagement lifecycle.
• Communicate directly with clients and participate in presentations and meetings with senior stakeholders.

You'll lead Australian tax and accounting engagements, guide professionals through complex matters, and engage directly with Australian stakeholders.
