Emapta Philippines is seeking a Tax Lead to head a newly formed Pioneer team serving one of Australia’s Big Four firms. The role oversees Australian tax engagements, directs team delivery, and maintains quality across SME and mid-market portfolios, while building strong Australian stakeholder relationships.

This is a hybrid role with travel to Australia and work-from-home flexibility, backed by a sign-on bonus and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3-4+ years of Australian tax experience.
• At least 2 years of Australian Public Practice Accounting experience.
• Exposure to SME and mid-market clients with AUD 5M-100M+ turnover.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, collaboration, and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Australian tax and accounting advisory support across SMEs, family businesses, trusts, partnerships, foreign subsidiaries, and listed entities.
• Apply technical expertise in Australian tax compliance, accounting standards, and middle-market business advisory.
• Manage end-to-end client engagements while partnering with stakeholders and senior leaders on communication, presentations, and strategic delivery.
