Job summary

Emapta Philippines is building a Pioneer team for a leading Australian Big Four firm, offering hybrid work in Pampanga and international exposure. The role targets a Tax Assistant Manager with strong leadership and SME experience, overseeing Australian engagements and driving high-quality delivery.

Travel to Australia is included, with a sign-on bonus and a non-taxable housing allowance. Initial onboarding is day one with global mentorship, and a clear path toward senior advisory and leadership

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of Australian Public Practice Accounting experience.
• At least 2 years of team leadership experience.
• Experience supporting SME and mid-market clients with AUD5M-100M+ annual turnover.
• CA or CA-equivalent qualification, either completed or currently in progress.
• Strong knowledge of Australian taxation, accounting legislation, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to review technical work and maintain high-quality delivery standards.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and people-development capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide Australian tax and accounting advice and solutions across a diverse client portfolio, including SMEs, privately owned businesses, trusts, partnerships, foreign subsidiaries, and small listed entities.
• Build technical expertise across Australian tax compliance, accounting, and business advisory services for middle-market clients.
• Lead and contribute across the full client engagement lifecycle.
• Communicate directly with clients and participate in presentations and meetings with senior stakeholders.
• Deliver high-quality outcomes that support long-term client success.
