Job summary

NAIS CORP is seeking a reliable Bookkeeper / BAS Support Officer to join our Australian bookkeeping practice. You will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll, reconciliations, and BAS/IAS reporting under supervision to ensure accuracy and compliance.

You will work with clients, prepare management reports, and support month-, quarter-, and year-end processes in a detail-focused role. The position requires AU bookkeeping experience and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in Australian bookkeeping, payroll, and BAS workflows.
• Strong English communication and client liaison skills.
• Familiar with cloud accounting platforms (Xero/MYOB/QBO).

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for Australian clients.
• Process invoices, bills, and payroll; perform reconciliations.
• Assist with BAS, IAS, GST, PAYG reporting; support lodgement.
• Prepare management and cashflow reports for clients.
• Communicate with clients to obtain missing information and clarify transactions.
