Job summary

Jatro BPO is seeking an AU Bookkeeper and Loan Administration Officer to blend Australian bookkeeping with loan administration in a fast-paced financial services environment. You will manage daily bookkeeping using QuickBooks or Xero, handle AP/AR, reconciliations, BAS/GST preparation, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Bookkeeping experience using QuickBooks or Xero
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Experience in loan administration, mortgage processing, or the Australian finance industry
• Knowledge of Australian accounting and bookkeeping practices
• Experience using CRM systems

Responsibilities

• Manage daily bookkeeping functions using QuickBooks/Xero and other accounting software
• Process Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), bank and credit card reconciliations
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, journals, and general ledger entries
• Assist with BAS and GST record preparation, management reports, and financial summaries
• Monitor outstanding invoices, follow up payments, and maintain organized financial records
• Assist with mortgage and business loan processing from submission to settlement
• Review loan applications and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness
• Prepare and maintain loan files and update client records in CRM systems
• Coordinate with brokers, borrowers, accountants, solicitors, valuers, and lenders throughout the loan process
• Track loan milestones, monitor outstanding conditions, and support settlement and post-settlement administration
