Job summary

NTT DATA is hiring an SAP ABAP developer in the Philippines to design, develop, and support ABAP-based solutions across FI/CO, MM, PS, SD, REFX and analytics. You will write code from functional specs, create technical documentation, and work with business analysts to ensure timely delivery and quality.

Hybrid work setup and OD support are provided. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s in IT/CS, SAP ABAP and OO programming experience, and ABAP Workflow/WRICEF capabilities, with

Responsibilities

• Write ABAP code based on Functional Specifications and blueprints.
• Coordinate with Business Analysts to understand requirements and provide solutions.
• Collaborate with SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, PS, SD, REFX, BI) for consistent user experience.
• Create Technical Specifications and documentation for SAP changes.
• Support ABAP WRICEF and provide technical documentation.
• Ensure programs meet timelines and allocate appropriate man-days.
• Provide end-user support and troubleshoot system defects after delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Writing the code using ABAP programming language on the basis of the Functional Specification from Business Analyst / Functional Analyst / Consultant and blueprint provided by the end-users and performing regular tests in development client on the usability of the code.

• Understand the requirements of the end-users by coordinating with the Business Analyst / Functional Analyst / Consultant and seek clarification in order to provide the best possible solution.

• Coordinating and consulting the Business Analyst / Functional Analyst / Consultant who is in-charge in SAP modules such as SAP FI/CO, MM, PS, SD, REFX and Business Analytics to ensure a consistent experience to the various users on the client's side.

• Providing documentation in the form of Technical Specification for every change or modification in SAP Processes.

• Support all assigned ABAP WRICEF within the project and provide technical documentation of it

• Ensuring that all programs are completed in schedule as per the provided timeline and allocating appropriate man-days required in the development.

• Providing technical support to the end users in the form of troubleshooting during system defect and error and modifications to the system after it has been delivered.

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).

• Good creativity and the ability to work with abstract concepts.

• Basic knowledge of systems, software and programing languages.

• Ability to focus on detail with excellent client service orientation.

• Ability to manage urgent and difficult tasks simultaneously

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field.

• Enterprise application-specific certifications preferred.

• Certification in one functional area of application preferred.

Required experience:

• Bachelor’s degree graduate

• Has at least 4 years’ experience in SAP ABAP

• Experience in the field of ABAP programming and Object-oriented programming.

• Must have ABAP RICEF experience

• Should have ABAP Workflow implementation experience

• With at least one full cycle implementation of SAP S/4(On-prem/Cloud)

• ABAP HR/SF is a plus

• ABAP Certification is a plus

• Experience in CDS/AMDP is a plus
