At Glass Lewis, we help investors make informed governance decisions. Our independent research and analysis support institutional investors and pension funds in evaluating publicly listed companies. Our global team values integrity, collaboration and transparency.
We are seeking entry-level Research Associates to support Quantitative Research and Executive Compensation research covering publicly listed U.S. and Canadian companies. You will review company disclosures, collect and verify data, and contribute to analysis of executive pay and its alignment with company performance and shareholder interests.
This posting covers opportunities on both teams, with responsibilities depending on your team assignment. Comprehensive paid training is provided, and prior experience in executive compensation is not required. The role offers practical experience for candidates interested in research, finance, business, law, corporate governance or investor stewardship.
The Quantitative Research team provides the data and analysis that support assessments of executive pay relative to financial performance and shareholder returns. Associates quickly collect, clean and verify compensation and financial data, use proprietary models and Microsoft Excel, investigate inconsistencies, and prepare preliminary pay-for-performance assessments under analyst supervision.
The Executive Compensation team evaluates executive pay levels, incentive program design, performance conditions and the quality of company disclosures. Associates research compensation practices, draft preliminary analysis and help develop voting recommendations on say-on-pay and compensation-related proposals under analyst supervision, applying Glass Lewis guidelines to each company’s circumstances.
