Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking an Associate OT Security Officer to support enterprise-level security operations across OT networks and assets in Makati City, Philippines. You will collaborate with the OT Security team to design, monitor, and improve security controls aligned with industry standards and government policies.

Key focus areas include incident response, audit remediation, and OT/ICS security expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Engineering (CoE), Computer Science, Information System/Technology or related field.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in managing and maintaining OT software and network systems.
• Knowledge of Industrial Control Systems & network systems, basic cyber controls, risk management.
• Knowledge of OT security controls from common industry frameworks (IEC 62443, NERC CIP, NIST).

Responsibilities

• OT Security - Assist in creation of, and execute OT Security roadmap as agreed with the manager.
• Assist in incident response and recovery.
• Assist in review, planning and mitigation of outstanding security audit findings across business units.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the TL.

As an Associate OT Security Officer, you will assist the OT Security Officer by performing AP-wide enterprise level technical analysis, design, and monitoring of security control operations and performance covering OT networks, systems and assets which are aligned with established internal & government mandated policies, guidelines & standards and industry accepted cybersecurity frameworks e.g. NIST Cyber Security Framework (CSF), IEC 62443, NERC CIP, etc. and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with the team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

What You Will Need

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Engineering (CoE), Computer Science, Information System/Technology or related field.
• Professional: Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in managing and maintaining OT software and network systems.
• Knowledge of Industrial Control Systems & network systems, basic cyber controls, risk management.
• Knowledge of OT security controls from common industry frameworks (IEC 62443, NERC CIP, NIST).

Technical / Functional Skills

• License Preferred: A board passer or holder of a license/certification related to the job function.
• Certifications: Relevant cybersecurity certifications preferred, such as: CompTIA Security+ GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) ISA/IEC 62443 certifications CISSP CISM GIAC certifications Other OT/ICS security-related certifications.
• Required: ISC2 CC.
