UnitedHealth Group's Optum team in the Philippines is hiring for a Medical Coding Auditor role. The position focuses on reviewing documentation of health care services and translating diagnoses into standard codes to support accurate billing and outcomes.

We welcome PRC-licensed medical allied graduates, including fresh graduates. Shifts are 7:30AM - 4:30PM, Tuesday to Saturdays, and the role offers a chance to grow within a global health care platform.

Formación

• PRC-licensed medical allied graduate required.
• Fresh graduates with active PRC license welcome.
• Experience in healthcare auditing is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Jobs on this function specializes on auditing correct documentation of health care procedures, medical equipment, and all other medical services provided to a member. This includes the analysis and translation of medical and clinical diagnoses, injuries, or illnesses into designated numerical codes
• Consultants follow the up-to-date coding guidelines, reimbursement guidelines and payment policies to ensure accuracy of the review
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

• Course/ Education: Any Medical Allied Graduate with PRC active license (even psych and N&D)
• Minimum required relevant experience: Fresh graduates are okay as long as they have an active PRC license
• Limited work experience

Shift: 7:30AM - 4:30PM, Tuesdays to Saturdays
