ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Jobs in this function specialize in reviewing and auditing healthcare documentation, including healthcare procedures, medical equipment, and other medical services provided to members.

• This includes the analysis and translation of medical and clinical diagnoses, injuries, illnesses, and procedures into designated numerical codes.

• Review medical records and apply up-to-date coding guidelines, reimbursement guidelines, and payment policies to help ensure the accuracy of reviews and appropriate claims processing.

Your role is critical in helping ensure accurate medical coding and review while supporting the delivery of quality healthcare services to our members.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of a 4-year Medical Allied course such as BS Nursing, BS Pharmacy, BS Medical Technology, BS Physical Therapy, BS Radiologic Technology, BS Psychology, Nutrition and Dietetics, or other related Medical Allied programs.

• Must have an active PRC license.
