Coca-cola European Partners in Manila seeks an Associate Director to lead the Record to Report for Australia and New Zealand, transitioning financial accounting activities to our shared service center.
You will manage a team of senior managers and professionals, ensuring timely period-end closes, IFRS reporting, local GAAP, and tax compliance while driving continuous improvement. Strong SAP expertise and stakeholder management are essential.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual for the role of Associate Director to lead the Record to Report (RTR) Australia/New Zealand team supporting the business unit of CCEP. The Associate Director will be the primary responsible person for transitioning the financial accounting activities to the shared service center in Manila Philippines, as well as supporting the RTR continuous improvement and service excellence agenda.
You will lead the preparation of the Group’s external reporting schedules. You will also support the preparation of statutory financial statements and tax returns.
You will lead a team of senior managers, managers and professionals to ensure all tasks are performed in the most effective, efficient and timely manner.
You will strive to create a strong business relationship with all internal and external stakeholders.
You will lead the team towards the effective and efficient performance of end-to-end accounting and financial reporting activities of CCEP for Australia and New Zealand, including:
To be successful in this role, you must have very strong written and oral communication skills, excellent organizational and time management skills and demonstrate an expert level of understanding financial processes. You will have at least 8 years accounting experience within a multinational company or Big 4, including 4 years on a leading accounting role.
Your strengths are in coaching and developing others to deliver results while leading and engaging them. You are able to delegate, set clear objectives and provide feedback. Project and process management skills are essential to successfully manage audits and other projects. Strong SAP experience is required.
Fluency in English is required.
In addition, you should have strong presentation skills to communicate results to your stakeholders. You have attention to detail and apply analytical thinking for the evaluation of accounting and business processes. Ability to address or escale complex issues within the RTR area.
Preferably you should hold a professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA or CPA).
Earlier start of the working day will be required on occasion to accommodate Australia/NZ time zone.

Previous work experience in Finance and/or Accounting within a multinational company (at least 8 years).
People management experience (5-7 years, out of which at least two as manager of managers)
Proven experience in developing and implementing solutions with focus on continuous improvement.
