Job summary

Alftek in Bengaluru, India seeks an Associate Architect to support design development, BIM modeling, and construction documentation. You will work with senior architects to translate design intent into buildable documents and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

The role offers hands-on experience in BIM-based project delivery and construction documentation, with exposure to design reviews, technical studies, and knowledge sharing within a fast-paced project environment.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture.
• 1–3 years of professional architectural experience; internship or professional experience in architectural design and documentation preferred.
• Must have: Revit, ACC, Bluebeam.
• Proficiency in Revit and BIM-based workflows; understanding of architectural drafting, modeling, and documentation.
• Basic knowledge of building systems, construction methods, and detailing; familiarity with construction documentation processes.
• Understanding of building codes, accessibility requirements, and industry standards.
• Knowledge of visualization and digital design tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams throughout design and construction phases.
• Develop and maintain BIM models and project documentation under supervision.
• Assist in preparing architectural drawings, schedules, and technical details.
• Participate in multidisciplinary coordination activities.
• Support document production and construction documentation efforts.
• Assist with design reviews, technical studies, and project research.
• Coordinate assigned tasks with project team members and consultants.
• Support QA/QC processes and adherence to project standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Learn and apply project delivery standards and BIM best practices.
• Prepare architectural plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules.
• Assist in the development of BIM models and project documentation.
• Support coordination of architectural designs with structural and MEP disciplines.
• Assist in producing construction documents and technical packages.
• Ensure assigned work complies with project standards, codes, and design intent.
• Participate in model reviews and coordination meetings.
• Assist during construction administration by responding to documentation updates and project requirements.
