Job summary

Citco Philippines is seeking a senior accounting professional to oversee technical accounting for real estate and private equity funds. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage external audits, and review complex fund structures and financial statements.

The role requires 5+ years in public/private accounting with strong GAAP/IFRS knowledge, leadership skills, and experience with real estate funds and accounting systems (Yardi, MRI, Investran).

Qualifications

• 5+ years public or private accounting experience.
• 5+ years real estate and/or private equity accounting experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience in fair value reporting for real estate investments and debt obligations.
• Knowledge of Private Equity and Real Estate Funds.
• Experience reviewing real estate operations and preparation of full financial statements, including notes.
• Knowledge of multi-family and commercial real estate accounting.
• Strong leadership and supervisory experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and project management skills.
• Proficiency with real estate accounting systems (Yardi, MRI, Investran) and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Operations, Financial Statement, Tax, and Investor Relations groups.
• Coordinate, manage and monitor external audit process.
• Review fund partnership agreements, PPMs and other materials.
• Lead the implementation of fund structures on accounting systems.
• Coach, develop and train staff.
• Complete ad hoc reports as needed.
• Review trading and operations processes for the real assets division.
• Perform other functions as part of the business.

You: You have a Bachelor or Master level degree (in accounting, finance, economics). 5+ years public/private accounting experience

• 5+ years real estate and/or private equity experience Knowledge and experience in GAAP and IFRS Experience with fair value reporting for real estate investments and debt obligations
• Knowledge of Private Equity and Real Estate Funds Experience in reviewing real estate operations and preparation of full sets of financial statements, including notes Knowledge of multi-family and commercial real estate accounting
• Strong leadership skills and supervisory experience of other professionals Strong written and verbal communication skills Project management skills with attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task
• Knowledge and experience in real estate/private equity accounting systems (Yardi, MRI, Investran, etc.) Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel)
