Job summary

WSP in Manila is seeking a Project Coordinator/Controls professional to support planning, delivery, and control activities across development and construction phases. You’ll track schedules, milestones, and budgets while coordinating with architects, engineers, and clients.

The role emphasizes project controls, risk tracking, and reporting, with exposure to international energy, infrastructure, or renewables projects and collaboration with global teams.

Qualifications

• A degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• 2–6 years’ experience in project coordination, project controls, or assistant PM roles.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle and delivery processes.
• Experience with project controls functions (cost, schedule, reporting, risk tracking).
• Familiarity with Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel (advanced).
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Effective communication across distributed/global teams.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning and delivery, assisting Project Managers across development and construction phases.
• Maintain and track project schedules, deliverables, and milestones.
• Assist with cost control activities, including forecasting, invoicing, budget tracking, and variance analysis.
• Support change management processes, variations, claims tracking, and documentation.
• Prepare and maintain project reporting, including progress reports, dashboards, and risk registers.
• Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment on scope and deliverables.
• Support design management activities, including document control, design reviews, and interface tracking.
• Contribute to risk and issue management, ensuring risks are tracked and mitigated.
• Support proposal preparation and bid submissions as required.
• Drive consistency in project processes, templates, and reporting standards.

What You’ll Do:

• Support project planning and delivery, assisting Project Managers across development and construction phases

• Assist with cost control activities, including forecasting, invoicing, budget tracking, and variance analysis
• Support change management processes, including variations, claims tracking, and documentation
• Prepare and maintain project reporting, including progress reports, dashboards, and risk registers
• Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams (designers, contractors, and clients) to ensure alignment on scope and deliverables
• Support design management activities, including document control, design reviews, and interface tracking
• Contribute to risk and issue management, ensuring risks are tracked, escalated, and mitigated
• Support proposal preparation and bid submissions where required
• Drive consistency in project processes, templates, and reporting standards.
