Job Description
The Assistant Process Engineer focuses on analyzing existing workflows, designing and optimizing new processes, enforcing quality standards, and driving operational excellence. He will support the company’s operational processes and ensure the quality of products and services.
Key Responsibilities
Process Analysis and Optimization
- Analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements to enhance operational efficiency and minimize errors or defects.
- Design and optimize new workflows that align with company objectives.
- Standardize templates, documents, and operational procedures for consistency and efficiency.
- Develop and implement standards for inspections, ensuring alignment with quality objectives.
Quality Assurance and Standards
- Document and report product or service quality levels to relevant stakeholders.
- Create and enforce quality standards, procedures, and policies, and ensure these are consistently maintained.
- Oversee the development of quality standards and improve them over time to meet evolving operational needs.
Team Leadership and Collaboration
- Set departmental objectives and KPIs, review ongoing performance, and provide guidance to direct reports.
- Identify and define KPIs, create process maps, and assess potential risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as project management, engineering, and HR, to ensure smooth implementation of new processes and quality standards.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Analyze company performance data, generate quality reports, and identify areas for improvement.
- Recommend appropriate solutions to address performance gaps and process inefficiencies.
Compliance and Certification
- Ensure all in-house systems and procedures comply with external certification standards and are updated as required.
- Monitor and verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA Plan) for non-conformities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering is preferred.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply! Experience in quality assurance, process design, or operational optimization is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of quality standards, process mapping, and KPI development.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, process improvement methodologies, and standardization practices.
