GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo are advantageous. The successful candidate will mentor Quality Analysts, coordinate with Operations, and deliver timely QA and SLA reports.
We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Quality to lead quality assurance initiatives for the travel process. The role involves managing quality performance, driving process improvements, ensuring compliance with quality standards, conducting calibrations and audits, mentoring the quality team, and partnering with Operations to achieve business goals. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, experience in the travel domain, and hands-on knowledge of GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
Ensure quality monitoring, feedback, reporting, and other QC deliverables are completed on time.
Support the implementation of Quality Excellence initiatives in coordination with Operations and Migration teams.
Prepare accurate and timely quality and SLA performance reports.
Conduct calibration and Gage R&R sessions with internal teams and clients.
Ensure compliance with quality standards, QSD, and audit requirements.
Work with Operations to identify process gaps and drive continuous improvements.
Support Lean Six Sigma initiatives and quality improvement projects.
Train and mentor Quality Analysts on quality tools, processes, and best practices.
Monitor quality trends and recommend corrective actions to improve performance.
Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and quality tools.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Management.
Prior experience in a leadership role such as Assistant Manager or Team Lead (Quality) is preferred.
Travel domain experience (2-3 years preferred but not required), with familiarity with GDS systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo being an advantage.
