IQ-EQ is seeking a senior technical subject matter expert to deliver high-quality performance analytics and technical support. You will review complex outputs, guide technical issues, drive process improvements, and mentor junior staff in managing sophisticated client portfolios.

Responsibilities include reviewing reports and data for accuracy, ensuring compliance with policies, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CFA, CAIA, CPA, CIPM, or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience, incl. 4 years in performance/analytics or fund accounting.

Responsibilities

• Review performance and analytics reports, client deliverables, and data for accuracy and compliance.
• Perform timely reviews of transactions, including complex items, ensuring policy and client requirements are met.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members and oversee day-to-day review activities.

THIS ROLE:

As a senior technical subject matter expert (SME) you will be responsible for delivering high-quality performance analytics and technical support. You will review and validates complex work outputs, provides expert guidance on technical issues, drives process improvements, and supports project execution. You will also mentors and coaches ljunior team members, particularly in managing complex client portfolios and advanced accounting-related processes.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• You’ll review performance and analytics reports, client deliverables, and underlying data to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to established guidelines and reporting standards.
• You’ll conduct timely reviews of performance and analytics transactions, including moderately complex and complex items, while ensuring compliance with internal policies, risk controls, and client-specific requirements.
• You’ll oversee day-to-day review activities, providing technical guidance, direction, and support to junior team members to maintain high-quality service delivery.
• You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve inquiries, address issues, and support the seamless delivery of performance and analytics services across teams.
• You’ll maintain expertise in client methodologies and reporting standards, identify opportunities for process improvement, enhance technical methodologies, and drive operational efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives.

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field, with a professional certification such as ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CFA, CAIA, CPA, CIPM, or an equivalent qualification preferred.
• You have at least 6 years of relevant experience, including 4 years in performance and analytics, fund accounting, financial reporting, or audit, with expertise in complex portfolios and advanced accounting modules.
• You possess strong technical knowledge of fund performance and analytics, including portfolio return calculations, Total Return, IRR, DPI, TVPI, and RVPI metrics, with advanced analytical, review, and problem-solving capabilities.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and have proven experience reviewing complex transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and delivering accurate, high-quality outputs.
• You are a detail-oriented and collaborative professional with excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills, capable of providing technical guidance, driving process improvements, resolving issues proactively, and performing effectively under pressure with a strong “can-do” attitude.
