Nature Landscapes Pte Ltd is seeking an Assistant Manager/Manager, Horticulture to lead landscape maintenance and implementation teams. You will ensure health, sustainability, and aesthetic appeal of green spaces through expert horticultural practices and strong client engagement.
Responsibilities include site inspections, turf and plant care guidance, cost-effective solution development, and timely reporting.
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Horticulture Manager to lead our landscape maintenance and implementation teams. This position plays a key role in ensuring the health, sustainability, and aesthetic appeal of our green spaces through expert horticultural practices, effective team leadership, and strong client engagement.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure the quality of the landscape and resolve any horticultural issues.
Provide expert guidance on turf, plant, and tree care, including fertiliser and chemical usage.
Develop and implement cost-effective solutions for landscape and horticultural challenges.
Plan and forecast fertiliser and chemical requirements to optimise resources
Prepare and submit monthly horticulture and arborist reports
Conduct Visual Tree Assessments (VTA) and prepare arborist reports for NParks and internal use
Ensure compliance with maintenance standards, safety requirements, and contractual obligations
Oversee documentation compliance and verify client payments.
Monitor and control costs related to tools, materials, plant replacements, and overtime.
Review operational efficiency and recommend continuous improvements.
Lead, train, and mentor site gardeners, float teams, and interns
Manage recruitment, onboarding, and training of horticulture staff.
Attend client meetings and respond to horticulture-related requests promptly.
Support the sales and implementation of upgrading works and ad hoc projects.
Degree or Diploma in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or related discipline
5 - 7 years of proven experience in landscape maintenance and team management
Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills
Proficiency in horticultural planning, costing, and reporting
Valid driving license and willingness to travel for site inspections
