Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Pasay, Philippines is seeking an experienced HSSE Manager to implement client-specific HSSE frameworks, policies and SOPs across managed sites. You will lead risk assessments, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance.

You will coordinate with regional teams, deliver HSSE training, oversee incident investigations, and maintain documentation to meet client and statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 Years experience in managing HSSE in a similar environment.
• International certifications in HSSE, Fire safety and Sustainability (ISO 14001 & 45001) are a plus.
• Recognized by DOLE.

Responsibilities

• Work with Regional HSSE and Platform teams to develop and deliver an HSSE strategic plan for all JLL managed facilities.
• Develop and implement Client specific HSSE frameworks—SOPs and work instructions.
• Review risk assessment plans and guide documentation processes.
• Monitor HSSE documentation for statutory requirements, gather environmental data, inspections, permits and reporting.
• Lead training calendars and provide HSSE training to on-ground teams.
• Coordinate with Account Manager and Regional/Corporate HSSE teams to ensure program implementation and progress reporting.
• Oversee monthly HSSE audits and follow up on risk assessments and mitigations.
• Manage HSSE incidents and maintain a lessons-learned repository, with training for teams and contractors.

What this job involves

Implement Client specific HSSE framework policies and procedures (SOP) for all the Managed sites. Understand, imbibe and align JLL HSSE deliverable with Client HSSE framework, policies and procedures in the city/state/country. Develop, implement and monitor all HSSE activities including training the JLL and sub-contractor staff from time to time. Reviews the HSSE risk assessment plan created by Operations team and guide them through the process documentation. Implement and monitor HSSE documentation include HSSE related statutory requirements in alignment with Client process, JLL HSSE and Contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Working in partnership with the Regional HSSE, Area HSSE and Platform team to create and deliver an HSSE strategic plan for all the JLL managed facilities.
• Develop and implement Client specific HSSE framework—SOPs and Work instructions.
• Reviews the HSSE risk assessment plan created by Operations team and guide them through the process of documentation.
• Keep track of HSSE documentation for all statutory requirements of Client requirements, gather environmental data, conduct environmental inspections, maintain permit compliance, and report to all regulating agencies where applicable.
• Develop a tracking mechanism.
• Develop and monitor the training calendar and provide HSSE training to on ground team from time to time.
• Support all HSSE related activities including training the operations, JLL HSSE support staff & Contractors and monitoring their activities.
• Coordinate with Account Manager, Regional HSSE Manager, Corporate HSSE manager, ensure implementation of programs and report on the progress periodically.
• Monitor monthly HSSE audits at site & ensure the follow‑ups & completion of Risk assessment and develop control measures through Client specific process.
• Manage the HSSE related Incidents, own the process, keep a repository of Lesson Learns, conduct training and lateral implementation.
• Support IFM in emergency preparedness programs and Coordinate to monitor Fire Fighting systems across the sites as per local compliance requirements.
• Ensure the general and other hazardous waste is handled & stored as per Client ’s and statutory requirements.
• Develop (or adopt Client Process) and operate a site Permit to Work Process to co-ordinate all parties’ contractors carrying out work at the location(s).
• Maintaining & monitoring the Work permit systems and related documents.
• Ensure the approval for all the chemicals used or to be used at site through approved process.
• Vendor management to ensure safe delivery of goods and services.
• Development of SOPs and Work instruction.
• Demonstrated Leadership Skills.
• Must have good communication & interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to articulate knowledge in HSSE aspects including the Fire safety norms.
• Should have demonstrated leadership skills to lead teams in multiple sites across different countries.
• Should have a keen understanding of Risk assessment and the skills to align the same to mitigation and planning.

• Regional Account Team Regional HSSE Manager.
• Client HSSE Regional, country and site teams Client at all sites in the region JLL Corporate teams and Regional HSSE and EOS verticals.

Qualification/Certifications

• Minimum 10 Years experience in managing HSSE in a similar environment.
• International and regional certifications in HSSE, Fire safety and Sustainability ISO 14001 & 45001 exposures would be an added advantage Recognized by DOLE.
