Bridge Data Centres Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an Assistant Manager, Contract Management to oversee customer contracts across the sales lifecycle. You will review, negotiate and administer agreements to minimize risk while enabling growth, serving as the commercial advisor during negotiations.
You will collaborate with Sales, Legal, Finance and Operations, lead redlining, ensure templates reflect business needs, and maintain a centralized contract repository.
The Assistant Manager, Contract Management is responsible for managing customer contracts and commercial agreements throughout the sales and customer lifecycle. The role reviews, negotiates, and administers contracts to ensure commercial risks are effectively managed while supporting business growth objectives. This role serves as the key commercial advisor during contract negotiations, providing guidance on contractual obligations, commercial terms, risk exposure, pricing commitments, liabilities, and customer-specific requirements.
Review customer contracts, service agreements, master service agreements (MSA), order forms, amendments, and other commercial documents.
Identify contractual, commercial, operational, and financial risks and provide recommendations to mitigate potential exposure.
Advise internal stakeholders on contract terms, obligations, liabilities, service commitments, and commercial implications.
Support contract negotiations with customers to secure commercially favorable terms while maintaining positive business relationships.
Collaborate closely with Sales teams during contract discussions and customer negotiations.
Review customer-requested contractual changes and assess associated commercial, operational, and delivery impacts.
Lead contract redlining activities and coordinate stakeholder reviews across Legal, Finance, Operations, Engineering, and Customer Fulfilment teams.
Ensure contractual commitments align with operational capabilities and business objectives.
Support the development and standardization of contract templates, commercial terms, and negotiation playbooks.
Maintain a contract repository and ensure all agreements, amendments, approvals, and supporting documentation are properly managed.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce, Law, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Contract Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 4 years of experience in contract management, commercial management, bid management, sales operations, commercial operations, or related functions.
Experience reviewing and negotiating customer-facing commercial agreements and contracts.
Strong understanding of commercial risk management and contract negotiation principles.
Ability to review contractual clauses and identify commercial, financial, and operational risks.
Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working across Sales, Operations, Finance, and Legal functions.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and influencing skills.
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
