Job summary

Universal Robina Corporation is seeking an Assistant Manager, Category Finance for its Finance Snackfoods department. The probationary role focuses on providing financial analysis and strategic support to drive capital investments, budgeting, and performance monitoring.

You will review monthly financials, support planning, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College degree required.
• CPA certification (CPA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides decision support to Management through financial analysis and simulations.
• Assists in the review of the financial viability of new major capital investments and marketing spend.
• Assists in the analysis of monthly financial reports including top to bottom deviation analysis.
• Facilitates Strategic Planning process for the group.
• Prepares Annual Budget and aligns the same with business objectives and corporate guidelines.
• Monitors budget and reviews performance measures.
• Identifies and highlights process and business risks and works with stakeholders to manage potential impact.
• Participates in Management Committee meetings.
• Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the Manager.
