Job summary

IQ-EQ is recruiting an Assistant Manager for Asset Owner Solutions, based in the Philippines. You will act as the team’s technical expert and final review authority for complex fund accounting deliverables, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and high-quality service to sophisticated client portfolios.

You will lead the review and sign-off of fund accounting outputs, drive technical excellence, and guide the team on advanced accounting matters, while engaging stakeholders and maintaining data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience, including 4 years in fund accounting, performance and analytics, financial reporting, or audit, handling complex portfolios.
• Strong expertise in technical accounting with a proven track record as a subject matter expert driving process improvements and innovation.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting standards, statutory requirements, and regulatory frameworks, with the ability to apply them in complex scenarios.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong analytical skills, a proactive attitude, and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform final reviews and sign off on fund accounting reports, calculations, and deliverables, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards.
• Lead and support the team in resolving complex accounting issues, providing technical guidance and driving process improvements and innovation.
• Manage day-to-day operations, including workload planning, meeting deadlines, and ensuring delivery against client SLAs and reporting timelines.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, addressing queries, resolving issues, and representing the team in meetings.
• Oversee team performance and development through coaching, feedback, and scheduling, ensuring adherence to procedures, audit requirements, and best practices.

THIS ROLE
