Curran Daly + Associates is seeking an Assistant Brand Manager for a leading consumer-facing brand in the food service/FMCG sector. You will translate brand and business objectives into consumer-focused marketing strategies and initiatives, managing projects from planning through execution and post-campaign evaluation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • At least 4 years of relevant marketing experience in Brand Management, FMCG, Food Service, Retail, or Consumer Goods.
  • End-to-end marketing project management and campaign execution experience.
  • Experience in new product development and product launches.
  • Working knowledge of integrated marketing communications and media planning/buying.
  • Strong analytical skills interpreting sales, consumer, and campaign data.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Support brand and marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.

  • Lead new product development initiatives from concept to launch.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Creative, and other stakeholders for launches.
  • Monitor post-launch performance and adjust plans based on results.
  • Monitor performance of products within the portfolio using sales and market data.
  • Identify opportunities for product innovation, enhancement, promotion, and rationalization.
  • Support portfolio reviews and provide recommendations based on consumer relevance and brand fit.
  • Translate consumer and market insights into actionable marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct post-campaign and post-launch reviews to capture learnings and improve future programs.

Our client is a leading consumer-facing company in the food service/FMCG sector, looking for an Assistant Brand Manager to support brand growth, marketing campaigns, new product launches, and portfolio development.

The role will translate brand and business objectives into consumer-focused marketing strategies and initiatives, managing projects from planning through execution and post-campaign evaluation. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure effective and timely execution across multiple consumer touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities
1. Brand & Marketing Management
  • Support the development and execution of brand and marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, in-store, and other relevant channels.
  • Ensure consistent brand positioning and messaging across consumer touchpoints.
  • Manage marketing projects, timelines, budgets, deliverables, and external partners.
2. New Product Development & Launches
  • Lead and support new product initiatives from concept development and testing through commercialization and launch.
  • Develop go-to-market plans covering positioning, target consumers, pricing, promotions, communications, and execution.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Creative, and other stakeholders to ensure successful launches.
  • Monitor post-launch performance and recommend improvements based on business and consumer results.
  • Monitor performance of products within the assigned portfolio using sales, consumer, and market data.
  • Identify opportunities for product innovation, enhancement, promotion, and rationalization.
  • Support portfolio reviews and provide recommendations based on consumer relevance, commercial potential, and brand fit.
4. Integrated Marketing Communications & Media
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing communications programs.
  • Support media planning, buying, and performance evaluation.
  • Monitor campaign effectiveness and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Work with creative and external agencies to ensure timely and high-quality campaign execution.
  • Monitor consumer behavior, market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Analyze sales, campaign, and product performance data to identify growth opportunities.
  • Translate consumer and market insights into actionable marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct post-campaign and post-launch reviews to capture learnings and improve future programs.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Creative, Sales, and other internal teams.
  • Manage multiple projects and stakeholders while ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and execution challenges and drive timely resolution.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in Brand Management, FMCG, Food Service, Retail, Consumer Goods, or related industries.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end marketing project management and campaign execution.
  • Experience in new product development and product launches.
  • Working knowledge of integrated marketing communications and media planning/buying.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales, consumer, and campaign performance data.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Creative, consumer-focused, proactive, and highly organized.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and cross-functional stakeholders.
