Job summary

USANA Health Sciences is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Accountant in Makati to support day-to-day accounting operations, including payables processing and monthly closings. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

The role requires at least two years of relevant experience, a degree in accountancy, and knowledge of VAT and withholding taxes. Experience with Oracle and MS Excel is preferred, with strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

Degree in accountancy or related field.
Proficiency in MS Excel and strong analytical skills are required.
Experience with computerized accounting systems (Oracle preferred).

Responsibilities

Process accounts payable transactions for vendors and employees, and generate the invoice register.
Apply payments to related invoices and generate the payment register.
Process disbursements, including electronic and check payments.
Monitor vendor billings and payments, and accounts receivable for employees and others.
Prepare accounts payable reconciliations, expense accruals, and month-end closing analyses.
Ensure internal controls compliance and provide evidence for internal audits.
Maintain proper disbursement substantiation and supporting documentation for audits.
