Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Tanauan City, Batangas, Philippines, is seeking an onsite assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will perform routine assembly tasks and work with basic tools to install electrical and mechanical components, ensuring on-time production and adherence to blueprints and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos or short correspondence.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing practices (CI/Kaizen/5S) is a plus.
  • 1–3 years related experience is preferred; fresh grads welcome.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble electrical and/or mechanical components per blueprints/diagrams.
  • Utilize small hand tools (soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers).
  • Support Manufacturing team to help ensure on-time product delivery and meet production targets.
  • Coordinate with Quality to ensure products meet company standards and traceability per SOP.
  • Maintain accurate data/records to ensure traceability and compliance.
  • Participate in continuous improvement (CI) and lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Adhere to EH&S practices and safety standards across the site.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Do
  • Perform routine tasks in preparation for assembly
  • Has the initiative in work and a good team worker
  • Assembles and/or installs various electrical and/or mechanical components where operation and sequence are specified by blueprints, wire lists, diagrams or previously established shop practices.
  • Utilizes small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and hammers.
  • Work with Manufacturing team to ensure product on time delivery by ensuring attainment of daily and monthly production target.
  • Work with Quality Team to ensure products are manufactured in accordance with company systems and procedures, meeting customer / international
  • Ensure compliance to process specifications and parameters as outlined in SOP and ensure accurate traceability by maintaining accurate data and records. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel.
  • Work with continuous improvement teams to support CI culture and lean manufacturing tools and techniques.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • Adheres to and participates in all EH&S practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self and others
Qualifications We Must Have
  • Senior high school fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • 1 - 3 years related experience and/or training is an advantage
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable
  • Preferably with experience in manufacturing tools techniques (CI, Kaizen, 5S, etc.).
  • Perform routine task in preparation in assembly, and has multiple skill level for assembly activities
